Sometime we put off doing things for ourselves. Where exactly does this get us? Not very far. We all need to have time for ourselves. We need to look after ourselves a bit more than we do. After all, who is the most important person in your life? – your parents? Your family? Your children? Your friends? If you think they are then perhaps you need to think again.
The most important person in your life is you! Without you where would these other people be? If you don’t look after yourself and put yourself first, all these people will lose out if you become tired, stressed, frustrated or angry. So the most important person is you.
Ask yourself how you can change the way you plan your day. How can you plan your day, your week so you have got time for you. So often people talk about the fact that they haven’t got time for themselves, they get angry and frustrated but still can’t seem to make time for themselves. Think about what it is you really want time for, is it a quiet time? Time to play? Time to listen to music? Pamper yourself?
